DESCRIPTION

Atoderm Intensive Baume targets the primary sources of discomfort for individuals with severely dry, irritated, and mildly eczema-prone skin. Discomfort such as irritation and tightness often stems from an impaired skin barrier and an imbalanced microbiome, exacerbating dryness and unease. Utilising three key strategies, Atoderm Intensive balm works to alleviate discomfort in extremely dry skin and diminish the occurrence of flare-ups.

Normal to Dry and Very Dry Skin, and all ages. This repairing, calming and soothing balm can be used on the face and body and is ideal for those with dry and itchy skin.

APPLICATION

Once or twice daily, follow Bioderma’s 3.6.9 method of application. Gently massage into the skin until completely absorbed.

3 pumps for a BABY: 1 pump for face, neck, chest, and stomach - 1 pump for both arms and back - 1 pump for both legs.

6 pumps for a CHILD: - 1 pump for face and neck - 1 pump for chest and stomach - 1 pump for back - 1 pump for both arms - 1 pump per leg (x2).

9 pumps for an ADULT: - 1 pump for face and neck - 1 pump for chest and stomach - 1 pump for back - 1 pump per arm (x2) - 2 pumps per leg (x2).

Magic cream!!

I have suffered from persistent eczema on my neck for YEARS, and since making the move to a colder, dry climate, it just took over and at times, even would travel up behind my ears.

I have honestly tried a magnitude of products to get it under control, including steroid creams prescribed by my doctor specifically for eczema, including high-end products, and this cream is the ONLY thing that has worked.

After about a week the eczema started to heal, and after persistent use for over 1 month, I am completely rid of signs of eczema on my neck (and it has been the thick of winter). I have also started using it on my arms as I had minor KP signs, which have disappeared. This cream is truly a miracle and will forever be a staple in my routine.

Oh, how did I ever live without this product?
I do have skin issues and my legs are very dry even though I body brush. When I read the description of this product I researched PEA (PALMITOYLETHANOLAMIDE) I tend to stick with natural and wasn't sure what this was, I do know that every natural thing has a chemical name but I wasn't familiar with PEA.

This is what I learned: PEA is a natural, protective, fatty molecule produced in our body, and in animals and plants. PEA can be found in food such as meat, eggs, soybeans and peanuts. By the way, it's recommended for several systems in the body and mind.
That was good enough for me, I didn't have anything but itchy, flaky, skin to lose.
I opened it up the moment it arrived and tested it on my chins and elbows. It was an instant change, like a shield protecting my skin and holding in the moisture. I have used this product for two weeks now and I can't imagine life without it, it's everything in the description and more.
I love that it's scentless, fragrance oils come with their own problems, I avoid them. Also, there are no parabens. I feel safe using this product on my whole being. I look forward to seeing how it works overtime. I have no doubts it's nothing but positive. And I will certainly try more Bioderma products. I highly recommend Atoderm Intensive baume.

Thank you for your kind review Kaja. Just adding to your comment: with its Skin Barrier Therapy™ Atoderm Intensive Baume limits the adhesion and growth of the bacteria involved in eczema skin - staphylococcus aureus. Hence avoiding inflammation!
