Products and ingredients

Where are your products made?
Here at French Beauty Co., a core part of our offering is to bring you the best in French Beauty products, and as such all products we offer are entirely manufactured in France. This is part of our guarantee to you, providing the best quality products possible.

Are you an official stockist?
Yes. We work directly with the brands manufacturers and/or authorised distributors to ensure that all products we sell are genuine and authentic.

Are the brands sold on French Beauty Co. cruelty-free?
Under the European Union laws, the testing ban for finished cosmetic products has been applicable since 11 September 2004, while the testing ban for ingredients or combinations of ingredients has been applicable since 11 March 2009. Therefore, European regulations prohibit the animal testing of cosmetic products. All French brands strictly comply with this European directive.


Animal testing in China?
We can confirm that the brands sold on French Beauty Co. do not conduct animal testing on their products and do not support any tests of this sort. However, if the brands are sold in China, the Chinese authorities may decide to conduct tests on products before they are sold on their territory. We deeply regret this situation and we hope that Europe will be able to persuade the Chinese authorities about the reliability of alternative methods which are used on the European market. In the case of French Beauty Co. all products are directly sourced from France where no tests have been conducted.

Can your products be used during pregnancy/breastfeeding?
As with any cosmetics, some ingredients may be considered unsafe to use during pregnancy, so it is important to read and understand the composition and ingredients of our products. To make this as simple as possible for you, we have provided full ingredient lists on each product page. It is also important to consult your GP or obstetrician as a precautionary measure.

Can you recommend products for my skin type?
Yes of course, that’s part of our service to you! Here at French Beauty Co., we’re happy to provide you with our knowledge and expert advice, to help ensure that you can find the right product that suits your needs. We’re happy to provide our recommendations, or even answer your general beauty questions through our live chat directly on our website, Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM. Do you offer samples?
Yes, we do, each order comes with a selection of complimentary samples. As part of our offering, we want to introduce you to some new and exciting beauty products, and to do this, we offer free samples with all purchases. With so many new and exciting brands coming to Australia for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to discover some new favourites.

Can you send me some samples to try before I buy?
Due to the limited nature of samples, we regret that we are unable to send you samples alone. However, you will receive free samples with every order.

Orders and shipping

How can I qualify for free shipping?
We offer free delivery on all orders above $50. Otherwise there is a flat fee of $12 Australia wide.

What are the delivery options and how much does it cost?
At French Beauty Co. we use Australia Post for all our deliveries. We offer both standard and express shipping options, all of which can be tracked throughout the shipping process. Please see the table below for delivery time estimates. Please note that the number of days shown is indicative once we have dispatched your order, which itself may take a day or two.

Please note: these time estimates are catered to metropolitan areas, so you may need to allow an extra day or two for regional areas. Additional time may also be required during sales periods, holidays such as Christmas, or extreme weather.

Most parcels will be posted on the same or next day,however please allow up to 2 working days for packing and handling.

Do you ship outside Australia?
Unfortunately, at the stage we only offer shipping to Australian addresses, where we happily deliver Australia wide.

Can you deliver to a PO Box address?
Of course, that not a problem!  Just make sure you have the correct delivery details before finalising your purchase. A calling card for collection will be left at your PO Box should the parcel be too large to fit.

How can I track my parcel?
All our orders are tracked using the Australia Post official tracking system. To track your delivery, simply visit the link below, and enter your track ID number, provided to you in the initial confirmation email, and you will be able to track your delivery at any time.

What happens if I’m not home when the delivery person comes?
Australia Post should leave you a calling card which will provide information about how you can arrange collection of your order.

My parcel is lost.
Unfortunately, we are not liable for parcels that are lost. We recommend you to take our Extra Cover shipping method to ensure the safety of your parcels. For an extra $3 you will be provided cover for items that are lost or damaged whilst being carried by Australia Post. For orders that qualify for FREE SHIPPING, you may change the method of shipping in checkout and selecting "Extra Cover"

What is your returns policy?
We only replace defective or damaged products.  Please contact us at hello@frenchbeautyco.com.au where we are happy to assist you.

Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, once your order has been received, and payment processed, we are unable to cancel an order. This is due to the volume of orders we receive, whereby cancellations may cause significant delays to all other orders.

What methods of payment do you accept?
At French Beauty Co., we accept the following payment methods:

Do you match prices?
No we don’t. However, with our Price promise commitment,you can shop with confidence as we set our prices to give you the best possible value. As the value of the Australian dollar fluctuates on an international scale, we may update our prices to reflect the changes in value.
