I received this awhile ago as one of the promotional gifts that were included with orders, but I held off trying it as I was definitely judging a book by its cover. I’d been looking for a HG lip balm for nighttime, particularly in winter when the air is drier inside. I’d tried Nuxe’s reve de miel lip balm and Laniege’s lip sleeping mask, and while good I wasn’t wowed. I began using the Bariederm lip balm by Uriage when I’d run out or misplaced my other lip balms and was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it - when I applied it at bedtime it was noticeable the following morning that my lips were a bit fuller than usual, which I’ve never experienced before.

The lack of fragrance is particularly great for when my lips are sensitive. And being in a tube the application is more hygienic than a pot of lip balm (I know you’re supposed to use a spatula for those but so hard to maintain that over time). it does make it a bit harder to get the last bit out and being plastic packaging recycling is a bit tricker than glass pots, but for lip and eye products I tend to make exceptions here in favor of hygiene.

This is the only lip balm that I’ve actually repurchased.

I absolutely love the texture .It covers the lips so well and stay. I saw a difference in using it day and night . My lips are slightly fuller after a few uses only . I like the packaging . Normal sticks tend to melt . The tube keeps it always ready for application.

I found this to be a great protective lip balm.
Lips certainly felt hydrated.
No heavy feel.
Spreads evenly onto your lips.
The one minus was no SPF protection at all, so I took a star off for that.
So for that reason I am using this protecting balm in the evening.
