Cattier’s clay has been carefully selected and extracted from all parts of France and dried and packaged to release its many properties with the maximum efficacy. There are three different clays which Cattier uses.
- Illite green clay is mainly found in the Massif Central and in the Paris Basin loved for its versatility.
- Montmorillonite green clay is highly pure and found mainly in Languedoc, Provence and the Massif Central.
- Kaolinite white clay is among the mildest for the skin, it can be found in France (Brittany) or in England.

Pink Clay Mask
Skin types: Sensitive or reactive skin
Pink clay is rich in trace elements and well suited for sensitive and reactive skin. Restores radiance in dull skin and neutralises redness.

Yellow Clay Mask
Skin types: Normal to dry skin
Yellow Illite clay is rich in silica known for its soothing properties. It eliminates impurities and softens the skin whilst calming discomfort in fragile skin

Green Clay Mask
Skin types: Congested, oily prone skin
A mixture of Illite and Montmorillonite clay known for their exceptional qualities to absorbs excess sebum whilst purifying and regenerating oily prone skin.

White Clay Scrub
Skin types: All skin types
White Kaolinite clay is the softest of all, containing silica which is recommended for fragile skin. Its softening qualities makes it the perfect exfoliating scrub that is pH balanced to decongest whilst soothing the skin.

Cattier’s ethical and sustainable development reaches across to using ingredients without raw material of animal origin (only ingredients derived from animal production that have no effect on the health of the animal are allowed ie:honey). They minimise their impact on the environment by sustainable waste management using predominantly recyclable materials (PE and PP) in their packaging.
