What is the secret behind the Embryolisse Lait Concentre, a moisturiser originally formulated by a dermatologist that quickly became a worldwide backstage staple during Fashion week? Is it its exceptional texture? Its high tolerance even on the most sensitive skin or its multi-purpose abilities? We have screened this miracle cream and we tell you all!
Khloe Kardashian, Elle MacPherson, Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley... they all have adopted it!
What is it?
In one sentence we would say: a thick yet easily absorbed hydrating cream containing shea butter, beeswax, soy proteins and aloe vera. If this isn’t enough to convince you, this is actually a multi-tasking cream that can be used on the face and body not only as a moisturiser but also as primer and cleanser!
Who can use it?
Everyone!
What does it do?
- It hydrates the skin deeply: Ideal to compensate the drying effects of a heater or air conditioning, harsh tap water and a life saviour during long haul flights when your skin can feel really tight and uncomfortable.
- It heals dryness and irritation: This can turn into a SOS cream if your skin is irritated after shaving or overheated by sun exposition. It can also help with sunburns.
- It preps the skin before make-up: Thanks to its lightweight consistency, it will smooth the complexion and ensure your make-up stays in place for longer.
- It removes make-up and impurities: The oil based will capture any make-up, pollution or residue without leaving the skin oily or sticky. Your skin will look fresh and smoothed in the morning.
Our favorite tips:
- As a moisturiser (day and night time): Apply on clean skin after your serum. One of our tips is to dilute it with a thermal water spray in summer or mixed it with your foundation to give more glow to the skin.
- As a night mask: Another tip is to apply a generous amount at night to bring back all the hydration the skin needs during the night. Alternatively, you can leave it on for 15min and remove the excess with a tissue or cotton pad.
- As a make-up primer: To achieve a dewy look, apply all over the face or as a highlighter on key areas.
- As a cleanser: Apply on a cotton pad and remove make-up on both face and eyes. Remove the excess with a tissue.
