I would normally steer clear of cleansers for oily combination because I actually have dry skin so anything that targets sebum is going to make me oily. But I still get the seasonal shine and blemishes from the summer humidity, sweating into sunscreen, wearing a hat, makeup etc… but this is gentle and does exactly what FrenchBeautyCo says it will do - removes the surface dirt and oil but doesn’t strip the skin entirely. I washed my face with Cleanance and then had a shower, which would normally leave my skin feeling tight from the dryness but that was the first thing I noticed - no tightness. I usually let my serum penetrate before choosing a moisturiser in case I get shiny and end up with moisturiser just sliding around on top of my skin but pretty quickly realised I was ready to absorb some hydration. Which means this cleanser gets me back to my natural baseline. Love it. Glad it comes in such a huge bottle too. That will get me through summer for sure!
